Vice President, Business Development

Responsibilities
- Manage existing partners through regular communication including meetings, business alignment, KPI, opportunity & revenue measurement and reporting.
- Ensure Partners are receiving the tools and support needed to achieve their goals.
- Help Partners achieve goals while maintaining and strengthening their relationship with FinPay.
- Represent FinPay professionally and form direct relationships with the stakeholders of Partners.
- Work internally with FinPay Sales and Client Success to close new opportunities with Partners.
- Help Partners understand and guide through the FinPay Engage Partner Tiers: Select, Accelerate and Luminary based on revenue generation for FinPay.
- Learn and understand Partner business to maintain an in-depth understanding of their needs and be able to communicate Partner's business to FinPay's Operations, Sales, Marketing and Product teams.
- Work closely with Operations and Product teams to ensure integration between FinPay and Partner's software platform is optimized and provides value.
- Work internally with FinPay Operations to ensure Partners are trained and complete re-training and certification.
- Onboard new Partners while maintaining retention and renewals, ensure Partners are aware of FinPay strategy, technology developments and services.
- Work with Marketing to publish white papers and partner success stories.
- Leverage Partners to grow revenue and customer success and obtain customer referrals when appropriate.
- Handling challenging conversations while focusing on sharing FinPay's goals and objectives.
- Establish effective collaboration and empathy to identify joint solutions and ensure understanding of the needs and challenges of both FinPay and our Partners. Identify the synergies and promote the partnering with FinPay.
- Generate new Partner leads and appropriate follow-up.
Requirements
- Must have 3-5 years prior experience within a Business Development, Partner, or Channel role
- Provide effective communication in order to identify problems and suggest areas of improvement with confidence and professionalism.
- Experience within the industry of Behavioral Health, technology and service companies, is preferred in order to support the needs and goals of Partners with a clear understanding. Experience in Acute Care a plus.
- Proven problem-solving skills to resolve Partner issues that challenge their success.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills to multitask/manage multiple Partners simultaneously.
- Ability to think creatively, contribute new ideas and solutions internally and with Partners.
- Must be able to work independently and collaboratively with a team.
- Experience in sales and cross-selling preferred.
- Google Workspace experience preferred.
- SalesForce experience including reporting preferred.
- Knowledge of health system integrations (HL7, FHIR, API, etc.) preferred.
